1、自20世纪90年代初，随着经济的全球化，软件本地化产业在国外应运而生，此后不久即随一些国际领先的软件厂商进入中国。由于当前大约80％的软件产品是在美国开发的英文产品，所以本地化绝大部分是基于英文产品，通过本地化的技术编译生成其他语言版本产品。Liyod international translations面向20个来自各个行业的大中型客户做了一项关于术语管理的调查，发现对于绝大部分客户来讲认为其软件产品最大的问题还是在于术语不统一。针对
